My 5 completed LSG designs.

My 3D project so far...

This is a completed bodest from my first trial, I have now made a second one using wire as well as modrock, I like the way it has turned out so far and I am going to paint this in the same style as the first, I really like the way the lines look and I think this mirrors the way Egon Sheile draws, it has been hard to convey this in a 3D form but I think it works very well!

Continuing on from my previous post, i have changed it from courses to contact information.

I think this works a lot better and is more aesthetically pleasing. 

Here is my first LSG design, i was going to put the courses on the back like ingredients to the ketchup, but i don't like the way it looks as i think it looks too busy, so i am changing it.

Specialist techniques- What i want to do at the moment.

At the moment I enjoy these things at college in my art lessons:

• 3D sculpturing with wire mesh, paper Mache, clay, mod rock, as I didn't really do much of it at school and its fun trying new things that I haven't done before.
• Life drawing, as again I've never tried this before and I really enjoy it and I think I'm quite alright at it.
• Painting, as I've been doing this from primary school and its always been a passion of mine.

These are some of the things that I would probably not progress on after college

• Graphic design, as I struggle with it and I feel that I'll never be amazing at it, and I don't enjoy it that much.

Here are some career paths that I would like to take:

• Technical costume design.

From looking at popular Broadway shows such as the lion king and war horse, I am very interested in the costume design and the way humans use the costumes as a form of puppetry, to portray how the animals move, walk, run etc.
from watching a video of Will Pearce who is Head of Puppets and Masks for London's West End production of The Lion King, who graduated from Wimbledon's BA Technical Arts and Special Effects course in 2003, gave me an In sight on how some of the puppetry works, whether it be simple string puppet or a complex technique. He spoke about the constant maintenance of the puppets on how often they have to take new casts of the performers for their costumes.

Here is a video of the Handspring puppet company, war horse, it shows how the people inside the costume portray the movements of thee horse, to give a convincing performance.

Creative advertising.

I have found these images that create a little humour, this gages their attention. all of these designs have been cleverly planned out so that the audience will understand the humour that the designer has incorporated into there design. I can take influence from these popular designs to use in my own work.
