Trip to Liverpool 2015- the Bluecoat Centre and The Tate Liverpool.

I didn't take any pictures inside the Bluecoat centre, as we didn't spend a lot of time there, but there was one piece of art that I thought was really clever, it was in a dark room, there was a box in the corner, there was loud music playing from within the box, flashing lights, laughing and cheering could be heard from outside the box, as if there was a party going on inside the box, when you tried to enter, it was clear there was no form of entry, it was the party you were never invited to. id like to go back to the Blue coat centre and have a longer look around at all of the artwork.

The next gallery we went to was the Tate, we spent the most time here and I really enjoyed this one, i had been to the Tate Liverpool a couple of years ago, but there was a lot of new art to go and see.

The work was really inspirational, I will use the work I have seen, like Bomberg's painting ju-jitsu in my Vortasism and Futurism 3D project. It was nice to see this painting in real life, because you could clearly see the brushstrokes that you cant see from an image of the painting on the internet. There was a really wide variety of work at the Tate, and I hope I will return again.

Whilst at the Tate me and a few other friends paid to enter the Transmitting:Andy Warhol exhibition. It was really good in this part of the Gallery, again like Bombergs painting, It was very strange to see them in real life, you could see the lines and colour differences in the screen prints, it was a really good experience to see such iconic pieces of work for myself. There was also a room, with projections on the walls of people dancing, with loud music playing the velvet underground, if I return and there is another 'paid for' exhibition, I will definitely go and have a look, because this was in my opinion the best part of the Tate.
