Mardi Gras research

Our class have been given a character to look at in detail, from the Kenneth Grahame Story The Wind In The Willows, I have looked into the festival of mardi gras, the heads they create for the festivals are very similar to the ones we are creating for our wind in the willows task.

I think they are a brilliant structure and a great peace of art, but personally I find them really unsettling and a bit creepy!
